Umami-rich, gingery, with a sweetness that caramelises beautifully in the oven — this marinade makes salmon taste like something you’d pay a lot of money for at a restaurant. A very impressive way to cook fish that is secretly extremely easy.
Ingredients
¼ cup white miso paste
3 cloves garlic
2-inch knob ginger, peeled
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon (2 tablespoons)
¼ cup maple syrup (2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil.
Directions
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend, scraping down sides as needed.
Marinate salmon for 30 minutes to overnight.
Cook Salmon with marinade in the oven at 350F until done. Enjoy!
