The Besto Pesto

This is the sauce that will make you never want to buy jarred pesto again. The miso is what gives it a umami flavour without the parmasean cheese in regular pesto, plus gives a gut loving boost!
Ingredients
2 cups of packed basil
1 cup of kale or spinach, stemmed
2 tablespoons of almonds
2 tablespoons of walnuts
1 tablespoon miso paste
1-2 garlic cloves
½ cup olive oil
Pinch of sea salt
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth, scraping down the sides with a spatula as needed.
Use immediately or store in a covered glass jar in the fridge. Enjoy!
Notes
No nuts? Use sunflower seeds instead of almonds and walnuts. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to stop it from browning.
